The Ascension Saint Thomas Health Foundation supports the mission of Ascension Saint Thomas – to provide spiritually centered, holistic care that sustains and improves the health of our communities.
Current campaign contributions provide direct support for the poor and uninsured, the development of facilities, patient care innovations, clinical research, scholarships and continuing education opportunities. Learn more about our current campaigns and how to get involved below!
Building on a legacy of more than 100 years, Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown is excited to shape the future of healthcare in our Nashville community. Enhancements to our Midtown campus will include $300 million in investment including a new, state-of-the-art surgery and critical care tower, modernization of the exterior of current buildings, a new entrance for the Hospital for Women, new Medical Office Building, new Spine Institute with specialized surgical suites, a new specialty hospital for inpatient rehabilitation, and expansions to our Cancer Center.
One of the Foundation’s largest and most supportive donor communities are our own medical staff and associates. All employees are invited to contribute to the mission-inspired work of the Foundation through either a one-time gift or by enrolling to make a payroll deduction. As a new associate or as an existing employee we invite you to learn more about how your donation can help a particular department or charitable endeavor of the Ascension Saint Thomas ministry.
Annual gifts of all sizes are the sustaining dollars of our foundation. These gifts represent financial support from grateful patients, friends, and community supporters who value our mission. These annual donations fall into two distinct categories: 1) unrestricted giving, which supports the most immediate hospital and patient priorities and 2) restricted giving, which can be directed to a special interest of the donor. For those donors who chose to give at the $1,000 level or greater, we have a variety of annual recognition societies in which we honor your generous support.
Tribute gifts are an opportunity to support our mission while also paying tribute to someone you care about or wish to recognize. Perfect for honoring an exemplary caregiver or any loved one, these gifts express gratitude to the recipient. Of course, these gifts are also lovely tributes to make in the memory of someone who has passed away as a special remembrance.
